Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting business development initiatives, market intelligence activities, project evaluation, and strategic investment-related projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and contribute to the expansion of the company's business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and potential investment prospects.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and prepare recommendations for management.
• Assist in the development and execution of business expansion strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including business partners, clients, financial institutions, and service providers.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, reports, and analytical materials.
• Support feasibility studies, due diligence activities, and project evaluations.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities across various industries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
• Support management in strategic planning and ad hoc business projects as required.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in business development, corporate planning, investment analysis, consulting, trading, financial services, technology, or related industries.
• Experience in market research, business analysis, and project coordination is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to travel when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to business investment, project evaluation, corporate strategy, or regional business development activities.
• Interest in emerging technologies, digital transformation, and evolving business trends.
• Basic knowledge of data analytics or programming tools would be an added advantage.
• Additional language capabilities, including Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia, are beneficial.
