Business Development Manager – Partnerships (Korea)
A fast-growing, Asia-focused fintech company is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager – Partnerships (Korea) to lead strategic partnerships and channel expansion in the South Korean market.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth environment and play a key role in building partnerships across Korea's financial ecosystem, including banks, securities firms, insurance companies, fintech platforms, and other strategic distribution channels.

What You'll Do
■Drive Market Expansion

Identify, develop, and onboard new channel partners across South Korea

Build strategic alliances with financial institutions, fintech companies, and other relevant partners to accelerate market growth

Develop and execute partnership strategies to increase product adoption and revenue generation
■Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships

Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners and decision-makers

Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for partner organisations

Drive partner engagement, business planning, and joint growth initiatives
■Enable Partner Success

Deliver product training and sales enablement initiatives to improve partner capabilities

Collaborate on co-marketing campaigns, business development activities, and market expansion programmes

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and ongoing support
■Market Intelligence & Business Strategy

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within Korea's financial services sector

Identify new business opportunities and provide market insights to support strategic decision-making

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings across South Korea
What We're Looking For
-
2-5 years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, Partnership Management, or B2B Sales
-
Prior exposure to financial services, fintech, payments, brokerage, wealth management, or technology-related industries is highly preferred

Strong understanding of Korea's financial ecosystem, including banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and fintech players
-
Native or fluent Korean and business-level English communication skills to liaise with local clients.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented approach

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Willingness to travel within South Korea for client meetings and industry events
