Our client, a global FMCG company, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to drive retail growth, manage key accounts, and deliver strong in-store execution. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on sales experience with data-driven decision-making.

[Summary]

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for managing key retail accounts and driving business growth through effective sales strategies, strong execution, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, optimizing performance, and ensuring excellent in-store visibility and availability.

[Job Role]

  • Manage key retail accounts (modern trade, general trade, departmental and specialty stores) to achieve sales targets
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, trends, and competitor insights
  • Recommend and implement strategies on product mix, pricing, promotions, and shelf visibility
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to develop account-specific growth plans
  • Plan and execute promotions, ensuring strong in-store brand presence and planogram compliance
  • Support new product launches, including stock planning and transition
  • Ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and product availability with retail partners
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable insights
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations)

[Requirements]

  • Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in retail channels (supermarket, general trade, departmental stores)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or Business Central
  • Experience in retail execution, distributor management, or modern trade accounts
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
