Our Client:

We are partnering with a European based MNC that specializes in Electrical Equipment, Motors, Drives and Gearboxes . The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Sales Manager as part of their strategic growth.

Responsibility:

• Manage and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales goals
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical)
• Related sales experience in LV Motors, HV Motors, Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starters both LV and MV, Switchgear, Gearboxes and Geared Motors
• Experience in couplings, brakes, oil lubrication systems, cam clutches and mechanical power transmissions (chains, pulleys, v-belts etc.) would be added advantage
• General knowledge of market of electric rotating machines in Malaysia, the main players, segments where they are succeeding and market size
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
